1-6 (a) Circles: Couples 1 (=active couple) and 2 form closed circle and circle once round CW. 12 walking steps.
7-8   M1 dances behind M2 and in between M2 and M3, while W1 dances outside W2 and in between W2 and W3. Meanwhile, couple 2 moves up to make room in the lines for oouple 1. 4 walking steps.
1-6   Couples 1 and 3 form closed circle and circle once round CW. 12 walking steps.
7-8   Couple 1 in waltz hold dances 4 buzz steps on the spot between couples 2 and 3. Finish on own side, between couples 2 and 3.
9-16 (b) Figure 8s: M1 and W1 dance figure-8s around couples 3 and 2 respectively [couple to the R]. M1 dances to the right between M3 and W3, behind W3, through couple 3, behind M3 and back to place. Concurrently, W1 dances to the right between M2 and W2, behind M2, through couple 2 again, behind W2, and back to place. 16 walking steps.
9-16   M1 and W1 dance figure-8s around couples 2 and 3 again, this time beginning couple on their L, M1 through couple 2 and W1 through couple 3. 16 walking steps. Finish in place on own side between couples 2 and 3.
17-24 (c) Chain: Couples 1 and 2 chain, once round. Couple 1 starts R-hand chain as usual, while couple 2 needs to 'flip' ("svipper") half-way round in order to give left hand to corner, ie couple 2 goes 1-1/2 times around (couple 2 "svipper"). 16 walking steps.
17-24   Couples 1 and 3 chain, once round. This time couple 3 starts R-hand chain as usual, while couple 1 needs to 'flip' ("svipper"). 16 walking steps.
25-32 (d) Polka: Couples 1 and 2 in waltz hold, dance around each other (twice), with 8 polka steps.
