5-6 (b) Advance, retire & stamp: Beginning with outside (ML/WR) foot, all dance 1 chassé forward in LOD (5). Ditto 1 chassé backwards in RLOD (6).
7-8   All stamp 3 times with outside foot (ML/WR).

Provenance: The tune 'Den sømand han må lide' [trans: A sailor must suffer] is from a musical 'Peer kommer hjem' [trans: Per comes home], by Adolph v.d. Recke, and performed once in Copenhagen on Sept. 17, 1849.
