|:1-8:| 1 (a) Circle: All couples form closed circle and dance CW 16 running steps. Ditto CCW 16 running steps.
9-16   (b) Heads to opposite place: Couples 1 and 2, with waltz hold, dance CCW around each other, stopping in the opposite place, placing W back to back in centre. M stand with partner, in waltz hold. 8 small galop steps.
9-16   Sides to opposite place: Couples 3 and 4, with waltz hold, repeat.
17-24   (c) M return: All M drop hold with partner, dance 8 running steps CW to original place, take waist-shoulder hold with opposite W, and turn 1/2 way around with 8 hop steps on the spot (see above). M finish with backs to the centre.
17-24   W return: All W dance 8 running steps CW back to original place, and turn with partner 3/4 turn as above, 8 hop steps.
|:25-32:|   (d) Staakæde (Standing chain): All dance R-hand chain to opposite with 6 small fast walking steps, and pause, maintaining R-hand hold, with 3 stamps (28). Repeat to opposite place with 6 walking steps, and one stamp (32).
Repeat to return to original place.
