Provenance: Documented by Johannes Egedal in 1926. Both the dance and the music are based on information from the musician Hans Møller. Møller said that the music is from 1860 and transcribed by himself in 1926 based on his recollection. He noted that "The folk dance teacher Lauritz Jørgensen, from Kjøng near Assens, came to Als in 1860 and taught the locals to dance Francaise, Galopin, Topilette-polka, Varsovienne, and several other folk dances."
