9-16   (b) Opføring: Couples 1 and 2 take crossed two-hand hold position with thumb hold, hands and elbows held tightly to body, and dance 4 polka steps CCW around opposite couple to return to place.
9-16   Couples 3 and 4 repeat (b).
|:17-24:|   (c) Chain: All dance R-hand chain once around the set. 14 walking steps followed by 3 running steps with a stamp on each one.
25-32   (d) Golden apples: All take crossed two-hand hold with partner and dance CCW around the set with 4 chassés (W backwards and beginning with R foot; M forwards and beginning with L foot). Meanwhile all "play with golden apples". Finish by turning over ML/WR shoulder to face corner.
33-40   Swing corner: Take waltz hold with corner, and swing on the spot. 8 buzz steps [two full turns, to finish with M facing CW around the set, and W facing CCW].
25-32   Golden apples: All take crossed two-hand hold with corner and dance CW around the set back to place with 4 chassées (W backwards and beginning with R foot; M forwards and beginning with L foot). Meanwhile all "play with golden apples" as above. Finish by turning over MR/WL shoulder to face partner.
33-40   Swing partner: Take waltz hold with partner, and swing on the spot. 8 buzz steps [two full turns].
    Couples 3 and 4 begin (b) in sequences 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10. Couples 1 and 2 begin (b) in all other sequences.
Parts (c) and (d) are the same in all sequences, except the final sequence.
