Provenance: music is a variant of Carl Michael Bellman's
Fredman's epistel no. 38 - Undan ur vägen
(lyrics),
composed sometime between 1773 and 1778. 'Hopsa' or 'hopsavals', however, seem to first be mentioned in Danish sources
in the first decades of the 1800s, according to Henning Urup's Dans i Danmark 2007 [pp.167-168].
