Provenance: according to the documentation for Nordlek 2024, the name 'jødetur' is thought to not refer to Jewish people, but was originally called 'Jydetur', ie a dance from Jylland (Jutland), and in dialect has become 'jødetur'. It is known from several places in Denmark.
