Formation: 4 couple quadrille. Couples 1 and 2 (head couples) have respectively their backs to and facing the music. Couples 3 and 4 (side couples) stand respectively to the R of couples 1 and 2.

|:1-8:| 1 (a) Circle: All form closed circle, and dance CW, 8 step-hops. Ditto CCW, 8 step-hops.
    (b) Cross-overs (opføring) - head cpls: Head couples cross:
9-10   W1 and W2 dance 2 step-hops diagonally L. M1 and M2 stand.
11-18   M1 and M2 pass on the R (L shoulders) between W1 and W2, in an arc to the R [toward opposite Ms place]. [Meanwhile, W1 and W2 continue in an arc forward to opposite Ws place.]
On meeting partner at opposite place partners change places, M dancing outside his partner, W inside her partner, to centre of set.
While dancing these 8 step-hops, W turn continuously over R shoulder, M over L shoulder.
Finish in the centre of the set, facing opposite couple. W is to L of her partner.

19-22   M1 and W1, and simultaneously M2 and W2, change places with partner, M dancing outside and W inside partner. Both turning once round themselves over R shoulder, while retiring to opposite place. 4 step-hops, beginning with a stamp.
9-22   Head couples repeat (b) to return to original place.

|:1-8:| 2 (a) Hopsa: All couples take waltz hold, and dance hopsa CCW once round the set. 16 hopsa steps.

|:1-8:| 4 (a) M one-hand star: All M form R-hand star with thumb hold, and dance 8 step-hops turning CW. Ditto CCW in R-hand star.
