Formation: 4 couple quadrille. Head couples (couples 1 and 2) respectively have their backs to or face the music. Couple 3 stands on the side to the right of couple 1, and couple 4 faces couple 3.

Bars Part Dance progression:
1-4   upnotes
5-8   Courtesy to own partner.
9-12 1 (a) Advance & retire: M1 and W2 dance towards each other with one chassé and 2 walking steps, finishing with a nod to opposite. They dance backwards to place, also with a chassé and two walking steps.
13-16   M1 and W2 again dance towards each other, take R hand in R hand, dance once around CW and finish in place, 3 chassés and two walking steps.
17-20   (b) Cross over: M1 and M2 place R arm around partner's waist, and hold partners L hand in own L hand.
Couples 1 and 2 change places with 3 chassés and 2 walking steps, couple 2 opening for couple 1 to pass through. At the opposite place, couples turn CCW, M backwards and W forwards, to face into the set.
21-24   Couples 1 and 2 return to place as above. This time couple 1 opens for couple 2. 3 chassés and 2 walking steps.
At own place, couples turn CCW, M backwards and W forwards, to face into the set.
1-4   (c) Courtesy & turn corner: All turn to face corner. Step to the left, deep courtesy to corner (1-2), followed by step to the right, deep courtesy to corner (3-4).
5-8   All take L hand in L with corner, dance once round CCW with corner and return to place, 3 chassé steps and 2 walking steps.
  2     M2 and W1 dance part (a).
Couples 1 and 2 dance part (b), couple 1 opens first.
  3     M3 and W4 dance part (a).
Couples 3 and 4 dance part (b), couple 1 opens first.
  4     M4 and W3 dance part (a).
Couples 3 and 4 dance part (b), couple 1 opens first.
    The sequence ends with one clap on the last beat.
