Formation: any number of couples in a longways set. M stand to the R, W to the L, as seen from the top of the set. Couples are numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.
Steps: reeltrin (jig step), walk
Music: 358:546

Bars Part Dance progression:
    Before dance begins, M1 and W1 change places.
1-8 (a) Jig steps: Couples 1 and 2 take 2-hand hold with partner and dance 8 jig steps on the spot.
1-8   M1 with W2, and M2 with W1 take 2-hand hold and dance 8 jig steps on the spot.
9-16 (b) Elbow hook chain: M1 with W2, and M2 with W1 take R-elbow hook and turn twice round CW, 8 walking steps.
Note: with each change of elbows, men pass back to back.
9-12   M1 and M2 take L-elbow hold with partner and turn once round CCW, 4 walking steps.
13-16   M1 and M2 take R-elbow hold with W2 and W1 respectively and turn 1/2 round CW, 4 walking steps.
Finish with couples 1 and 2 having changed places, ie couple 1 has progressed.
    Repeat from (a) as desired.

When the music repeats couple 1 dances with couple 3, while couple 2 stands over. When couple 1 dances with couple 4, couple 2 dances with couple 3, etc. As each couple reaches the bottom of the set and stand over, M and W change places.
It may also be danced such that couples 1, 3, 5, etc all begin by changing places with partner and dancing from the start. .
