| 1-8 | (a) | Couples 1 and 2 dance R-hand chain, 1-1/4 times round, 16 walking steps. Finish with couples 1 and 2 having changed places. |
| 9-12 | (b) | M1 and M2 face, ditto W1 an W2. Both couples dance 8 reeltrin. |
| 13-16 | Couples 1 and 2 turn to face partner, and dance 8 reeltrin. | |
| Repeat from (a) as desired.
When the music repeats couple 1 dances with couple 3, while couple 2 stands over. When couple 1 dances with couple 5, couple 2 dances with couple 3, and couple 4 stands over, etc. As each couple reaches the top of the set, it stands over twice. |
