See YouTube video with Karl Skaarup Four without Karl Skaarup 2016 Provenance: For many it is the high-point of the evenings when they play 'De stille ture'. Richard Harboe, a dancer, said "For me this will always be the best dance." 'De stille ture' is a suite of three dances in waltz rhythm for 2 couples. It takes about 15-20 minutes to dance them, so there is lots of time to get into the dances, to play with the dance, and as Harboe said, let everything procede as it should happen when you get out onto a smooth floor. He often used to spin around himself when he crossed over in part (b). We have knowledge of two ways of dancing these dances, one from north of Thisted and one from south. Both can be danced simultaneously by different sets [Jacobsen, p.84].
