Provenance: H. Grüner-Nielsen and his wife first collect dances in Tåsinge and Ærø in 1918. At that time the dances were played and reviewed by Niels Poulsen, musician, along with two other musicians Lakkendrup and Simonsen, all since deceased. This enabled the dances to be resurrected 15 [sic, in 1941] years later, and the formation of a folk dance group "Taasinge Folkedansere".
