Notes:
-- commonly followed by Viborg-totur sks 'Gesvint' [for 2 couples]. A version of Viborg totur for 4 couples is also available.
-- This version was collected in Thy in 1933, by W. Bøgh Christensen, office manager, and Svend Clemmensen, master carpenter, at the behest of Foreningen til Folkedansens Fremme (F.F.F.). In the third and later editions of the F.F.F. pamphlet Gamle danse fra Mors og Thy, dance descriptions were revised and standardized with the collaboration of Arne Bech.
-- Tre smaa sorte is also known as De små sorte and even De tre små sorte, and the names of the individual dances which make up the suite differ slightly. Versions may also differ in how they are danced, and the music to which they are danced in different recordings.
-- A slightly different version (De små sorte), as it is commonly danced on Thy now, is available here: Skære havre, Tetop, Pe' Thomsens kæde, Viborg totur
