Bars Part Dance progression:
1-8 1 (a) Piiri (circle): Couples form closed circle. [Starting with L foot,] 8 walking steps CW, followed by 8 walking steps CCW.
1-8   (b) Karkelo: head couples approach (3 walking steps), taking R-in-R hand with opposite, step backwards (1 walking step) and dance 4 walking steps to opposite place, turning CW to face into the set (1-4). Repeat to return to place (5-8).
1-8   Side couples repeat 1 (b).
1-8 2 (a) Tyttöjen piiri (W circle): W form closed circle, and dance 8 walking steps CW followed by 8 walking steps CCW. Meanwhile, M dance outside W's circle, 8 walking steps in opposite directions, ie. CCW, followed by 8 walking steps CW.
|:1-8:|   (b) Karkelo: head couples followed by side couples repeat (1 (b)).
