9-12 (b) Varvashyppely ja läpikäynti (kick-steps & pass thru): Hands on hips, Couples dance 8 kick steps, starting hopping on L foot and swinging R foot forward.

9-12 (b) 'Toe-step' & change places: Beginning with L foot, and with fists on hipss, all dance 8 'toe-steps' on the spot.
13-16   With hands hanging, opposite W change places, passing on the R and curving to L [ie CCW] into opposite W's place. As soon as W have crossed, M cross to opposite place passing on the L and curving to L [ie CCW] into opposite M's place. 8 walking steps.
9-16   Repeat (b) to return to place.

Provenance: A compilation of variants from Tenala and Bromarv. Sequence 1 was documented by Heikel in 1917, based on information from Vilhelm Sandberg, Bromarv. Sequence 2 is a compilation of variants documented by Heikel from Tenala and Pojo [see Brage, p.28]. The sheet music, from Tenala, was transcribed by E. Hedman in 1909, as played by Fredrik Fridolf Westin from Tenala. The FSF description by Marcus Bloomberg, 2007, based on the description in Brage 45 folkdanser.
