Steps: humppa, vaihtoaskel (change step), pisto (pivot), sivuaskelikko (side-step), juoksu (run), uhtuan askel/joustokäntyä ('limping' step)

Bars Part Dance progression:
1-4 upnotes All pause.
5-12 I Heel-toe & walk: Beginning with outside (ML/WR) foot, and moving in LOD, M touches L heel forward while W touches R toes back (5). M touches L toes back while W touches R heel forward (6). Beginning with outside (ML/WR) foot both dance 4 walking steps in LOD (7-8).
Repeat bars 5-8 (9-12).
13-20   Humppa: In waltz hold, couples dance 8 humppa steps turning CW, moving in LOD.
5-20   Repeat (I). On last humppa step (20), dance 2 walking steps, so that inside foot (MR/WL) is free for next step.
Couples finish side-by-side.
21-28 II Change over: both M and L facing in LOD, holding inside hands. Beginning with inside (MR/WL) foot, dance 2 humppa steps sideways, one towards partner (21), then one away from partner (22). M dances 2 running steps and a change step moving sideways to R. Meanwhile W turn one full turn in front of partner to partner's L side, 2 running steps and a change step (23-24).
Repeat bars 21-24 with opposite footwork (25-28), M turning in front of W to finish on partner's L side, couple facing LOD in skewed waltz hold.
29-32   Limp & pivot: beginning with outside (ML/WR) foot, dance 4 'limping' steps (joustokäntyä) moving forward in LOD (29-30), followed by 4 pivot steps (31-32), turning CW, moving in LOD.
33-36   Repeat bars 29-32, W turning under joined arms (ML/WR) on last 2 pivot steps.
Finish side by side, W arms crossed with R arm on top and L arm under, holding outside (ML/WR) hands in front, and inside (MR/WL) hands at WR waist (kä,velyhumppa hold), both facing in LOD.
37-44 III Walk & spin W: All dance in LOD 8 walking humppa steps (37-38). M dances in place while releasing WR/ML hold spinnung W out CW sideways with 4 steps, holding only inside (MR/WL) hands (39-40).
Repeat to spin W back CCW into crossed arm hold (41-44).
45-52   Repeat (III).
Finish side by side with partner, crossed back hold [ie L-in-L hand, R-in-R hand], MR arm on top, WL arm under.
5-12 IV Forward & back (tuusteppiversio): All beginning with R foot, turn 1/2 turn CCW to face RLOD with 2 change steps (5-6), and dance backwards in LOD with 4 walking steps (7-8).
Repeat change steps (dancing 1st step backwards) to face LOD (9-10) and dance backwards in RLOD with 4 walking steps (11-12).
13-20   Repeat bars 5-12. Finish in double open circle, M facing out, W facing in.
5-12   Change steps & change places: Beginning with outside L foot, dance 2 side steps, first to L and then to R (5-6). Partners then spin twice CCW [over L shoulder] while changing places passing on L, 4 solo pivot steps (7-8). Finish facing partner.
Repeat to return to place (9-12).
13-20   Repeat bars 5-12. Finish in open circle, [M facing LOD], in waltz hold.
21-28 V Malmi's humppa: Beginning with outside (ML/WR) foot, dance 2 side-steps toward centre of circle (21-22). Dance 4 walking steps (svengaavaa askele) diagonally forward to MR to original circle size (23-24).
Repeat bars 21-24, (25-28).
29-36   Humppa: All dance 6 humppa steps (29-34), followed by 4 pivot steps (35-36), turning CW, moving in LOD.
37-52 VI Repeat (V). Finish in 8 couple circles.
