some place under the name 'Vanhapiika'. It has been known for an unusually long time, from the 1860s at least into the 1940s.

According to Alfred 'Ollas Alfred' Lindroos (1859-1938) Sööderby, Stor-Pelling, Raatikkoon was being danced around 1870 in Stor-Pelling in the Borgå area.
