Bars Part Dance progression
1-4 (a) All advance, 3 walking steps beginning with L foot. Close feel and curtsey/bow to partner on (2:4). Retire ditto (3-4).
5-8   All change places with partner, dropping line hold, passing partner on the L. At partner's place turn CW (over R shoulder) to face into set.
1-8   Repeat (a) to return to place. On last bar, all W turn to face in pairs, ditto all M.
9-16 (b) All dance 8 reel steps, beginning hopping on L and swinging R foot behind.
|:9-16:|   All, with fists on hips, dance reel of 6 (or 8) on own side, beginning passing on the R, with 4 short quick running steps per bar. 64 running steps.

Provenance: known to have been danced in Tenala in the 1860s. This was one of the combined dances at Nordlek 2009 in Lahtis.
