Dance progression

1-4 (a) All begin with outside foot (ML/WR) and dance 3 polkamazurka steps, moving in LOD (1-3). With 3 running steps, turn one-half turn CW to face in RLOD.

1-4 All dance 4 polkamazurka steps moving in RLOD. Finish facing partner, and swinging joined R hands over W's head to finish in crossed two-hand hold with partner.

5-8 (b) All dance 4 Östgötasteg, turning one full turn CW on the spot. Drop hold with partner and take crossed two-hand hold with corner, M moving CCW in circle, W moving CW.

5-8 Repeat (b) with corner, turning one full turn CCW on the spot with opposite footwork, ie beginning to R with R foot. Finish in varsouvienne hold with corner (who is new partner), facing in LOD.

Repeat from (a) as desired.
