|:1-4:| (a) All turn to L, and dance L toe-heel step, beginning hopping on L foot and doing toe-heel with R foot, followed by R toe-heel step, etc. 8 toe-heel steps, alternating L and R.
5-6 (b) Karkelo: all dance 3 walking steps toward partner as if to pass L shoulders (L R L), leap onto R foot, turning 1/2 turn CCW (6 &).
7-8   and continue 4 walking steps backwards to partner's place, beginning with L foot.
5-8   Repeat (b) to return to place.
     
    Version from Orivesi-Oulu
|:1-4:| (a) All turn to L, and dance 8 toe-heel steps beginning hopping on L foot and alternating L and R steps.
5-8 (b) All take two-hand hold with partner, and turn CW on the spot. 8 walking steps.
5-8   All turn CCW on the spot, and retire to original position. 8 walking steps.

1-4 (a) All turn to L, and dance 4 heel-toe steps beginning hopping on L foot and doing heel-toe step with R foot.
1-4   All turn to R, and dance 4 heel-toe steps beginning hopping on R foot and doing heel-toe step with L foot.
5-8 (b) All advance, take two-hand hold (or R thumb hold) with partner, and turn CW on the spot. 8 walking steps (or 4 change-steps).
5-8   All take two-hand hold (or L thumb hold) with partner, and turn CCW on the spot. 8 walking steps (or 4 change-steps).
     
    Version from Kivennapa
|:1-4:| (a) All turn to L, and dance 8 toe-heel steps beginning hopping on L foot and alternating L and R steps.
|:5-8:| (b) Couples take polkka hold, and dance 4 polkka steps turning CW, followed by 4 polkka steps turning CCW, moving in LOD.

Notes:
The version from Kimito was one of the combined dances at Nordlek 1982 in Göteborg.
The version from Saarijärvi was one of the combined dances at Nordlek 2000 in Stavanger, combined with Varvastus..
