Formation: 6 to 8 couples in open circle, facing into set, partnerrs holding inside (MR/WL) hands.
Steps: juoksu (low running steps, 'soft' knees); polkua (stamp/stomp)

|:1-3:||:4-6:| 1 Kättely (chain): Beginning with [R-hand] to neighbour all dance chain around the set, 24 running steps.
1-3   Kyynärkoukkupyörinät (elbow-hook turn): All take R-elbow hook hold with partner and turn CW on the spot, 6 running steps.
1-3   Clap hands and take L-elbow hook hold with partner and turn CCW on the spot, 6 running steps.
4-6 2 (M advance,retire,progress): All M run into centre (4-5), 4 running steps. M stamp twice (6), turn to L,
4-6   and move to next W on their L in the circle (4-5), stamp twice (6),
1-3   Kyynärkoukkupyörinät (elbow-hook turn): take R-elbow hook hold and turn CW on the spot, 6 running steps, then
1-3   clap hands, take L-elbow hook hold, and turn CCW on the spot, 6 running steps.
|:4-6:|   Again all M run to the center and back and repeat elbow-hook turns with each W [moving CW around the set].
|:1-3:||:4-6:|   Repeat until all M, moving CW, have danced with all W.
|:1-3:||:4-6:| 3 Tähti (couple star): Holding inside (MR/WL) hands with partner, all form a CCW star, such that M grab the shoulder of M in front of them [with free L hand], while W holds skirt. The star moves CCW, 24 running steps.
|:1-3:||:4-6:|   Couples turn CW so that W form CW star as above, [24 running steps].
|:1-3:|   Kisapyörintä (swing): Couples take polska hold with partner, with ML arm raised up, and WR hand is holding skirt. Turn CW on the spot, 12 running steps.
|:4-6:|   Couples clap, and turn CCW on the spot.
Finish in the circle, with adjacent pairs facing each other [ie alternate pairs facing CW and CCW], holding [inside (MR/WL)] hands with partner.
|:1-3:| 4 Portit (arches): CW-facing couples run under the arch formed by oncoming couple, as all move 3 steps forward, then CW-facing couples form an arch for next oncoming couple.
|:4-6:||:1-3:|   Continue alternately forming an arch and going under an arch, to original place.
|:4-6:|   Kyynärkoukkupyörinät (elbow-hook turn): Take elbow-hook hold with partner and turn CW on the spot, 12 running steps, followed by turning CCW, 12 running steps.
|:1-3:||:4-6:| 5 Kättely (chain): Repeat part 1.
Once returned to original place, all hold inside (MR/WL) hand with partner, turn to face CCW around the set, and chase CCW off the floor.
