Formation: any number of couples in an closed or broken circle. Open vikivaka hold: holding inside hands, arms bent, hands at a little lower than shoulder height, R hand over, L hand under.
Steps: step-swing

Bars Part Dance progression
1 (a) All dance step-swing on L foot.
2   All dance step-swing on R foot.
3   All dance 3 small walking steps to L: step L to L (3:1), cross R over L (3:2), step L to L (3:3).
4-6   Repeat bars 1-3, but moving to the R [with opposite footwork].
7   Hop, close, and step-swing on L foot. [I interpret this as: hop on R (7:1), close L to R (7:2), step-swing on L, swinging R (7:3)
8-10   Repeat bars 1-3.
11   Step R, stamp L.
12   Step L, stamp R.
13   Step R, stamp L.
14   Step L, close R to L, and lift.
    Repeat from beginning as desired.
