1-2 | Beginning with ML/WR foot, dance 2 side-steps in the LOD (1). Repeat in RLOD (2).
Alternatively, dance 4 quick sidesteps in LOD (1) beginning with ML/WR foot, followed by 4 quick side-steps in the RLOD (2) beginning with MR/WL foot. Finish side-by-side (MR hip to WL hip) but still with waltz hold. |

3-4 | Turn CW on the spot, beginning with ML/WR foot, 3 walking steps and closing inside foot to outside on last beat. Ie M dances forward, W dances backwards. Repeat CCW, ie M dances backwards, W dances forwards. Finish in waltz hold or open waist-shoulder hold, facing LOD.. | |
5-6 | Touch ML/WR heel in LOD (5:1), touch ML/WR toe beside inside foor (5:2), step ML/WR foot to the side and close inside foot (5:3), and step ML/WR foot to the side and close inside foot (5:4). Repeat facing RLOD (6). | |
