Provenance: commemorates Marketa Dragomira (born 1186), the daughter of King Premysl I Ottokar of Bohemia. In 1205 she was married to Valdemar II 'the Victor' of Denmark. She was loved and remembered in Denmark and was given the Danish name Dagmar. She died in childbirth in Riberhus in 1212. On the Faroe Islands this ballad is used at weddings.

Note: this was one of the combined dances at Nordlek 2015 in Viborg.
