Formation: any number of couples in open circle, M facing out of circle, W facing in. Oblique closed waist-shoulder hold.
Steps: L-foot pols, 'sideways mazurka' (step ML/WR in LOD (1:1), close MR/WL (1:&), step ML/WR in LOD (1:2), close MR/WL with dip and reaching sideways in LOD with free foot for next step (1:3), ie 2 sidesteps to mazurka rhythm), walk

Bars Part Dance progression
1-3 (a) Starting with outside (ML/WR) foot, all dance 3 'sideways mazurka' steps, moving in LOD.
4   Couples turn 1/2 turn CCW, with 3 small walking steps (M: L R L; W: R L R). Finish with M facing into centre of circle, W facing out.
5-7   Repeat bars 1-3 with opposite footwork, moving in LOD.
8   Couples turn 1/2 turn CW, with 3 small walking steps (M: R L R; W: L R L). Finish with M facing out of centre of circle, W facing in.
9-16 (b) All move in LOD, 8 L-foot pols steps:

M:            L           R           both          L           R           both
W            both         R            L           both         R            L
or

    Repeat from (a) as desired.
Note: Normally done as part (a) followed by part (b), etc.. Somewhat free form, i.e. the number of bars/measures for each part is entirely up to the dancers.
