Vals fra Langeland (sitting)


Type: sitting dance
Formation: individuals on chairs/wheelchairs in circle, or rows
Music: vals fra Langeland or any waltz with a :1-8::9-16::17-24: structure.

    Dance progression
|:1-8:| (a) Holding hands with neighbours, sway side to side, first to the right, then to the left. 16 sways.
|:9-16:| (b) Lift both feet (9:1), and replace on the floor (9:3). Spread both feet to the sides (10:1), and bring them together (10:3). Repeat 7 times.
|:17-24:| (c) With feet on the floor, stretch R arm forward (17) and as far back as possible (18). Repeat (19, 20). Ditto with L arm (21-24). Repeat 3 times.
    Repeat from (a) as desired.
