    Formation: even number of couples in pairs of couples facing couples.
1-8 (a) Couples form closed circles, and circle CW, 16 walking steps.
1-4 (b) Giving R hand to partner, chain to 4th person (corner) (1-3). 7 walking steps.
Stamp 3 times (4).
5-8   Take polska or waltz hold with corner, swing on the spot, 8 buzz steps.
9-16   Repeat (b), giving R hand to corner to start the chain, and swinging with partner.
    Repeat from (a) as desired. [Note that the sequence structure of the dance is AAB. Therefore if the music is structured AABB, the circle and chaining sequences do not begin at the same point in the music each time.]
    Mixer

Note: in all subsequent sequences, the same 2 M follow each other into the smaller circles, as do the same 2 W.
In the chains, M always move CCW, W move CW.
